My Projects

This is a list of both professional and personal projects that I am currently working on or have worked on in the past. Unfortunately most of my work is contained in an internal network so it cannot be viewed from the outside world, so most will be showcased using screenshots of features I consider to be important.

Professional Projects

Apple Inventory Reporting

This particular application was interesting in the fact that it required charts, which I really hadn’t messed around with up until this point, It also needed to be done in a relatively short timescale, as is much that I’m required to do for this company. Apple’s management and our own management needed a way to report the inventory statistics of our warehouse.  It pulls Its information from a large inventory SQL database controlled by SAP. the HTML pages are of the stats themselves as opposed to the fancy graphs. These three applications help manage over $70M in inventory.

Apple Trouble Ticket System

Apple needed a way to communicate with our IT team effectively and in an organized fashion. Therefore I devised a trouble ticket system that would facilitate this, and track the amount of time and money we had spent on particular tasks. This application interfaces with an Access database.

BOL Form Manager

Our transportation department needed a way to create custom Bill of Lading(BOL) forms for when the warehouse management software was not able to capture such an event. This problem was unique in that they wanted a solution that looked like the form they were already familiar with, so a traditional web form was out. Therefore I scanned in a document and used LiveCycle forms that interacted with a ColdFusion page that inserted information into a database for tracking.

dsnManager

Our two SQL Server’s has over 70 databases combined, as well as numerous Access and other kinds of databases. Our team needed a way to better manage and view database information than emails and other inefficient systems. Therefore I created this Flash application to view and perform basic management operations on database information and credentials.

Picker Stats

In the warehouse, its the pickers job to get, or “pick” the contents of an order and add them to the order. In order to track productivity, we created this application that gives real-time statistics for how many picks a person has made per hour, using dials to display the information in an aesthetically pleasing way.

Project Tracker

With so many projects happening quickly, our team needed a way to track and report on the status of projects. I was tasked with creating a project tracker that solved this problem.  The project tracker allows for multiple teams and locations to work completely separate from eachother, and facilitate collaboration between teams. Each user has their own password and permission levels based on their job function.

Nutrisystem QA Audit Report

A report on how accurate the orders were completed we send to clients to judge our performance. Nothing incredibly special going on here I just liked the design.

Nutrisystem Scorecard

My biggest project to date, at least in terms of Flex. The previous version of this application, created by my predecessors at the company, was not making the cut. It was buggy and very seldom worked. I was charged with fixing the project in a matter of days: in essence I was redesigning it. I started from scratch and built up a brand new line assignments system that was much easier to use and much less prone to user error in about five days. I attempted to make it very clear to the people using it where everyone was at and what everyone was being scheduled to do using color coding. I also bullet-proofed the system so users could not perform any illegal actions. Overall this project was a big success both to myself and to my team.

UPS Order Tracker

One of the first Flex applications I built. This app was to track orders that had not shipped yet 48 hours+ the order date in order to alert management of straggling or lost orders before it was too late.
